The Domaine de Montcalm, acquired in 1882 by Louis Prat, was conceived as a self-sufficient estate, combining viticulture, hunting and community life. After several changes of ownership, the Jeanjacques family took possession of the estate in 1934, before becoming sole owner in 1943. Today, the estate covers 65 hectares, producing wine, beer, spirits and olive oil, while preserving its historical heritage and respect for the terroir.
Domaine de Montcalm boasts an exceptional terroir, where the rounded pebble soils and Mediterranean influence create ideal conditions for rich wine production. The estate is committed to preserving this unique environment by adopting practices that respect nature. Each cuvée is a pure reflection of the terroir, a subtle blend of tradition and innovation that guarantees wines of great authenticity.
