About
Château St-Ferdinand is a boutique vineyard taken over in 2020 by Noémie Tanneau, a winemaker in her thirties.
A former social worker turned agronomic engineer, she honed her skills in the vineyards of Pessac-Léognan and Saint-Emilion. Today, with her bold vision, Noémie has breathed new life into this estate, which had been dormant for 15 years, blending ancestral methods, innovation, and femininity.
The 6-hectare estate, nestled in the heart of Lussac Saint-Émilion, embodies a deep connection with nature, biodiversity, and respect for people.
The vineyard supports local flora and fauna through initiatives such as installing birdhouses, planting hedgerows and fruit trees, and managing beehives to encourage pollination. At the same time, the estate has taken concrete steps towards sustainable agriculture, earning the High Environmental Value certification and converting to organic farming.
Visit the estate year-round for a tour through the heart of the vineyard and enjoy a wine tasting.
