Take part in the grape harvest in the vineyard
Published on
Every summer, when the sun is at its peak, the vineyards prepare for their most eagerly awaited moment: the grape harvest. In Provence, it begins in mid-August, when the Grenache, Syrah and Rolle grapes reach maturity under the Mediterranean heat. In Bordeaux and Champagne, it often continues into September, sometimes October, depending on the grape varieties and terroirs. Everywhere, this harvest season marks the culmination of a whole year of care given to the vines. Taking part in the grape harvest means sharing the daily life of the winegrowers, understanding the precision of their movements and experiencing the unique excitement of this moment when the vines finally yield their fruit.
