Meeting with the french minister of Tourism
Published on
On Friday 10 January, Nathalie Delattre, the French Minister for Tourism, visited Château de Cérons, one of the 12 estates on the first low-carbon Wine Route in Graves and Sauternes, to meet with La Bulle Verte and local players committed to sustainable and innovative tourism.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss key issues:
- Raising the profile of the national tourism offer: Encouraging the French to favour local tourism, thereby creating direct benefits for local stakeholders and stimulating the local economy in a sustainable way.
- Developing sustainable and inclusive tourism: Promoting soft mobility and ecological infrastructures, with a particular focus on regional transport and local services for more responsible and accessible tourism.
- Enhancing the region and its inhabitants: Support rural and peri-urban tourism to boost local economies and strengthen the connection between quality of life, heritage and authentic experiences.
- Encourage local expertise: Promote agri-tourism and wine tourism as a means of diversifying income for local producers, by highlighting their unique expertise and their contribution to the richness of the region's cultural heritage.

An inspiring model for the future
During the visit, the Château de Cérons was presented as a perfect example of how to combine heritage, innovation and local economic development. And beyond this example, it was the entire La Bulle Verte community that was honoured, praised for its commitment to strengthening the dynamism of local areas and promoting the ecological transition.
This recognition underlines the tangible impact of our actions and our vision of responsible, inclusive and sustainable tourism.
