General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) – La Bulle Verte

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) define the terms for booking, payment, and use of services offered by La Bulle Verte via the website www.la-bulle-verte.com and the La Bulle Verte mobile app, including:

• rental of electric-assist bicycles (e-bikes),
  
  

• sale of tourist experiences and itineraries,
  
  

• additional services provided at partner eco-stations.
  
  

2. Booking and Payment

Any order placed through the website implies full acceptance of these T&Cs.
Bookings must be paid in advance via the secure payment platform Stripe. No banking data is stored by La Bulle Verte.
The booking is confirmed by email after payment validation.

3. Prices

Prices are displayed in euros, including VAT. They may vary depending on the selected service (duration, number of participants, type of equipment, options).
The applicable rates are those in effect at the time of booking.
Any rental period exceeding the reserved time by more than 5 minutes will be billed as a full additional hour.

4. Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required before equipment is provided.
It will be refunded if the equipment is returned in good condition and within the agreed timeframe.
An ID document may be requested and a copy retained for the duration of the rental.

5. Cancellation, Modification, and Refund

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start date: full refund.
  
  

• Less than 48 hours: no refund, except in cases of force majeure or extreme weather conditions.
  
  

• Any rescheduling request must be sent by email to contact@la-bulle-verte.com.
  
  

• If the activity is interrupted by the customer, no refund will be issued.
  
  

6. Conditions of Use of Equipment

The customer agrees to:

• use the equipment carefully and responsibly,
  
  

• not lend or sublet the equipment,
  
  

• comply with the highway code,
  
  

• report any incident immediately.
  
  

Wearing a helmet is recommended.
The customer is liable for any damage, loss, or theft occurring during the rental.
Damages will be invoiced according to current repair rates.

7. Liability

La Bulle Verte shall not be held liable in the event of:

• accident or damage resulting from misuse of the equipment,
  
  

• mismatch between the chosen route and the customer’s physical condition,
  
  

• loss or theft of the equipment if the provided lock was not used.
  
  

The customer agrees to park the equipment safely and to use the lock provided.
La Bulle Verte is not responsible for temporary unavailability of the website, app, or any content errors.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of information entered when booking.

8. Routes and Itineraries

The proposed routes and points of interest are indicative and subject to change or unavailability without prior notice.
La Bulle Verte cannot be held responsible for inaccessible sections, navigation errors, or any inconvenience encountered during the route.

9. Claims and Disputes

Any claims must be sent by email to contact@la-bulle-verte.com.
In case of dispute, the competent courts are those under the jurisdiction of the Bordeaux Court of Appeal.
French law shall apply.

10. Acceptance

Validating an order via the website constitutes full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the General Terms of Use.
