Epicurean discovery

In 1950, the history of Vignobles Courselle began with the acquisition of Château Thieuley by André Courselle, marking the birth of a wine estate. Under the impetus of his son Francis Courselle, an agricultural engineer and viticulture teacher, the vineyard underwent rapid development. In three decades, its surface area grew from 4 to 80 hectares, now spread over three estates: Château Thieuley, Clos Saint Anne and Château Saint Genès.

Francis' daughters, Sylvie and Marie Courselle, inherited the family passion and, both engineers and oenologists, gradually took over the reins of the Thieuley estate. Constantly experimenting, they favour innovative techniques to guarantee optimum quality. Their commitment to product excellence is reflected in every intervention, from the vineyard to production, carried out with rigour to ensure an irreproachable raw material.

At Château Thieuley, the emphasis is as much on the quality of the service as it is on the quality of the wine. Visits and tastings are carefully orchestrated to offer the ideal experience, whether at the cellar or via home delivery, thus integrating a global service philosophy.

Reservations can be made by contacting the Château directly, for weekday or weekend visits by appointment.
