Epicurean discovery

Located between Climens and Coutet, this 16 ha vineyard is classified as a Second Growth of Barsac-Sauternes in the 1855 classification.

On the terroir of Barsac, Château Doisy Daëne produces both a Sauternes Grand Vin and a very original dry white Bordeaux, the Grand Vin Sec du Château Doisy Daëne.

This classified growth of Barsac was acquired in 1924 by Georges Dubourdieu. It passed successively into the hands of his son Pierre in 1949 and then to his grandson Denis. Today, it is his great grandson, Jean-Jacques, who manages this great estate.

For more than 80 years, three generations of winemakers have worked from father to son to produce great wines.
